We took a 1970s office block, knocked through to double the windows, and filled it with pale oak, linen, and plants that like a lot of light. What is left is a hotel that feels like a friend’s very tidy apartment.
Everything runs on the quiet stuff you don’t notice: silent climate control, app check-in, blackout blinds that actually black out. The loud stuff — the plants, the art, the smell of the bakery downstairs — we kept.
All with the same bed, the same coffee, and the same very good light.
